Church of St Anne

The Tower outlines a striking notable point, unmistakable from parts of the city, with its red sandstone North and East and white ashlar limestone South and West. It is assumed that the shades of the apex offered climb to the waving shades of Cork.

The methods for the apex are consolidated with the 7 foot thick dividers and rise past the timekeepers, through the turret to the shade 36.6 meters over the ground.

The apex was raised in height in 1750 to oblige the eight ringers. The McOstrich family were locked in with the arrangement of the zenith and at whatever point a person from their family marries, the tolls are rung in their regard.
