About Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum

The Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum, Bangalore, India, a constituent unit of the National Council of Science Museums, Ministry of Culture, Government of India, changed into installed in memory of Bharat Ratna Sir M Visvesvaraya. The constructing, with a built up region of 4,000 m², turned into built in Cubbon Park. It houses numerous clinical experiments and engines, and become inaugurated by means of the primary Prime Minister of India, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, on 14 july 1962.

The first gallery installation at VITM, on the subject of 'Electricity', was opened to the general public on 27 July 1965.
