Vishansar Lake

It is located in the vicinity of Sonamarg and stretches a long path and it is considered to be highly important for the Kashmiri Pandits. The lake turns into ice during the winter but during summers it starts reflecting the green grass and vegetation and sky from in it.

It is also the source for the river called Nelum river and it flows upward towards the northern direction. The lake has been attracting tourists for a long time.
