About Tibetan Colony

Bir Tibetan Colony lies on the Himalayan Village of Chowgan. The colony is mainly the refugee settlement of Tibetan community. The colony is famous for number of handicrafts as well as some exotic Tibetan foods. The colony is one of the most ancient Tibetan refugee settlement in India.

The colony consists several Buddhist monasteries and temples and many more. Deer Park Institute is one of the major attraction for students where ious events are hosted like lectures, courses etc. the colony also interest travelers with lodging facilities, cafes and restaurants which is frequented by travelers.
