Thillai Kali Temple is a Hindu Temple situated on the edges of the town of Chidambaram, Cuddalore District Tamil Nadu in India. It was worked by Chola King Kopperunjingan who controlled in the vicinity of 1229 and 1278. This Temple is on the edges of the city of Chidambaram. Legend says that Goddess Kaali Devi moved here in the wake of losing to Lord Siva in the heavenly move challenge.
It was a contention that who is predominant, either 'Sivam' Lord Siva or Shakthi Parvathi. Keeping in mind the end goal to determine accordingly, they played out a move program at Chidambaram before Lord Vishnu, Lord Brahma and different gods. While they were playing move, Lord Siva was going to be crushed.
