Thai Temple

The well known attraction in Sarnath, the Thai Temple displays the then style of ancient architecture. The temple is set in middle of beautiful green gardens and is managed by Thai Buddhist Monks offering calm and peaceful surroundings. Thai Temple, Sarnath is holiest of the seven sacred cities in Hinduism and Jainism because both religions come here for worship. Hindus believe that death at Varanasi brings salvation. Varanasi, erstwhile Kashi and Banaras also spelt as Beneras which is famous for shiv nagari also and there are lots of ghats, it is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world and indeed the oldest in India. People often refer to Varanasi as "the city of temples”, and also known as  "the holy city of India", "the religious capital of India", "the city of lights", "the city of learning", and of course "the oldest living city on earth"
