Sri Sthanumalayan Temple, otherwise called Arulmigu Thanumaliya Perumal Temple, is an antiquated sanctuary where the Trinity is venerated in a similar sanctum sanctorum. The sanctum of this sanctuary has a linga which speaks to the Trinity. It is the main holy place in India where the Trinity is loved in one icon. The name of the god itself remains for the Trinity - Sthanu for Lord Shiva, Mal for Lord Vishnu and Ayan for Lord Brahma.
The sanctuary is situated in Suchindram, which is a famous journey goal in South India. Suchindram is arranged at a separation of around 11 km from Kanyakumari and 7 km from Nagercoil, on the banks of River Pazhayar. The sanctuary town of Suchindram is the dwelling place numerous sanctuaries and the most well known among them is Sri Sthanumalayan Temple or Thanumalayan Temple.
