About Salugara Monastery

It is among the most frequented worshipped spots, situated in the edges of Siliguri. Found 6 km from the city, the Buddhist holy place is gone by travelers for reflection. The perfect quiet area for contemplation was set up by Tibetan priests and supporters of religious pioneer, His Holiness Dalai Lama.
One of the featuring highlights of this cloister is the 100 ft stupa, which is accepted to be established by the Tibetan Lama, Kalu Rinpoche. This stupa is venerated by the priests as it brings out five sorts of relics of Buddhism. The protest of idolisation is accepted to convey salvation to the individuals who locate it.
