Ramtek Fort Temple

Ramtek Fort temple also known by the names, Shri Ram temple, Ram Mandir and Ram Dham is located on the Ramgiri Hulls at Ramtek which is about 50 kms northeast of Nagpur. This historical temple is situated atop a hill at an altitude of 345 meters. 

There is a big tank named as Ambika Talab at the foot of the Ram temple, which is used for immersing the ashes of the dead or what is popularly known as the Pitru Pooja. The religious activities and celebrations held on Ramnavmi are worth attending. 

The Ramtek Temple is known for tis unique OM structure. The structure is beautiful designed and adorned with the depiction of Ramayan and Krishna Leela, besides the idols of Lord Hanuman, Sai Baba and Gajanan Maharaj.
