Pimpalgaon Joga Dam

Pimpalgaon Joga Dam is situated in Malshej Ghat in Maharashtra. It is about is a 5 km long dam. The dam is situated in a very scenic backdrop which gives panoramic view to visitors. Even there are plenty of birds you can see here like Alpine Swift, the Whistling Thrush, the Quail and many more. The view of this dam is so heart warming and even one can see migratory birds like the Flamingos in this place. Ambagaon railway station is near by to this place.This dam is situated on plain waters of the enchanting  Pushpavati river. It is about 90 km from Pune .It is one of the major tourist attractions in the city. People use to come here from many places . So,it is worth visiting this place once in life time.
