Payaswini

Payaswini likewise known by the name Chandragiri. It is a waterway in the Kasaragod locale. The 17th century Chandragiri fortification is on the stream. This stream is considered as the conventional limit between the Tulu Nadu and Malayalam areas of Kerala from the fourteenth century AD onwards; before that it was north of Kumbala. The stream starts in the patti ghat hold woods in the Kodagu locale, province of Karnataka. It streams in a north-westerly bearing through Sullia taluk of the Dakshina Kannada region. In Sullia taluk, it is the real water hotspot for local and horticultural purposes. It at that point streams west to Kasaragod area, province of Kerala to join the Arabian ocean.
