About Pagoda point

Located on the eastern part of Yercaud Hills is the Pagoda point which is sometimes referred to as the Gent's sea. The Pagoda point adds to the hilly charm and natural beauty of Yercaud. It gives the visitors view points to view the panoramic vistas of the surrounding cliffs and landscape. 

The Pagoda point or the Pyramid point is the perfect spot to view the amazing sunrise and sunset. The point provides the most mesmerizing view of the Salem city, Kakambadi village and the cliffs. 

The name of the place comes from the four mounds of stones arranged in the form of a pyramid to resemble temple towers. It is known to have been built by the locals. It has a Rama temple positioned in between the stones, which is dedicted to the two an ionic stones revered by Malyalis. The towering cliffs are the rocky climbers' delight.
