About Naukachia Tal


Naukuchia Tal is about 26km away from Kathgodam. The word literally means surrounded by 9 lakes. The place has to offer the best view of the Himalayas. While taking a boat ride in the lake one would realize the beauty of nature and silence.

Away from the hustle and bustle of the city life, here you can only listen to sounds of the chirping birds and get to see the rich and thick flora and fauna. If you are fond of looking at the snow-clad Himalayas than this place can be the ideal destination for you.

The weather in Naukachia Tal is pleasant all round the year. The best time to visit is from March to June during summers and if you want to experience the winters than the ideal months are between September and November.
