Nagzira wildlife sanctuary is positioned among Bhandara Gondia district of Maharashtra. Nearest National Highway is NH 53. Nagzira Wildlife Sanctuary is locked within the arms of nature and decorated with a picturesque landscape, luxuriant flowers and serves as a residing outdoor museum to discover and respect nature. This sanctuary has some of fish, 34 species of mammals, 166 species of birds, 36 species of reptiles and four species of amphibians.
The invertebrate fauna consists of, besides some of insects and ant species. Wild animals discovered here are the tiger, Indian gaur, sambar, nilgai, chital, wild boar, sloth endure, Barking Deer, Mouse Deer and wild canine. Nearly 30,000 vacationers visit this sanctuary yearly. Wild animals to spot are the tiger, panther, bison, sambar, nilgai, chital, wild boar, sloth undergo and wild canine. There also are tigers, leapord and one elephant named Rupa. The Gond kings once ruled these forests inside the location of the Bhandara. In 1970, 116.54 km2 changed into d a Wildlife Sanctuary.
