Morbe Dam

Morbe Dam is a gravity dam on the Dhai river near Khalapur, Raigad district in the state of Maharashtra, India. The Morbe lake is the main water source for the city of Navi Mumbai. The dam was built by the Water Supply and Sanitation Department of the Government of Maharashtra.

Morbe Dam shares a close distance from Matheran of nearlyhalf-an hour and is a popular for weekend picnic from Mumbai and Pune.
