About Nagaraja Temple
The name for the town Nagercoil began from this temple. The temple has countless statues of serpents. The temple has two fundamental gods, Krishna and Nagaraja. The upadevathas are Shiva, Subrahmanya Swami, Ganesha, Devi and Dwarapalaka. Nagaraja Temple is a Hindu temple revering Nagaraja arranged at the core of Nagercoil town.
