About MOTHER OF GOD CATHEDRAL

The Mother of God Cathedral was worked in 1513 AD in Roman style of design at a separation of 1.5 Kms from Kozhikode Railway Station,. It houses a representation of Mother Mary, which is more than 200 years of age. The congregation is one of the celebrated traveler focuses in the locale. This congregation is the Headquarters of the Latin Catholic assemblage in Malabar. Worked in the Gothic style, the congregation is a tribute to the excellence of Italian engineering and the ability of Indian specialists. It is said that Italian planners were conveyed to Kozhikode to outline the congregation.
