Makhdam Kund is a shrine of Makhdum Shah, a Muslim Sufi saint. The Kund is a hot spring adjacent to Vipula Hill in Rajgir which is mainly popular to the Muslim devotees. The place is named after Makhdum, who is believed to have spent 12 years in the forest of Rajgir in the 13th century. Makhdum Kund is a warm spring are very popular and similar to Tapodharma.
The place is very good for spiritualism and certainly it is a kind of pilgrimage providing serenity. One spends their time for about one and a half hour and spend some aesthetic time. The best time to visit is from the period of October to February.
