About Kaundinya Wildlife Sanctuary

Situated at Palamaner in the state, Kaundinya Wildlife Sanctuary is widespread over an area of around 358 square Kms. Ficus bengalensis, Ficus tomentosa, Ficus religiosa; Albizia amara and bamboo are the various species of trees which are found in the sanctuary. Sloth Bear, Jungle Fowl, Wild Boar, Cheetal, Jackal, Panther, Starred Tortoise, Porcupine, Hyena, Jungle Cat and Four-Horned Antelope are the mammals also resides in the sanctuary.
