About Hathi Park

Sumitra Nandan Park or Hathi Park is situated contrary to the Allahabad Museum. The park draws particularly the youngsters for it has a large stone elephant as its principal attraction. A huge gateway opens into the lush green park that still has a small zoo. It is nicely maintained and is decorated with a diffusion of flora, shrubs and timber. It is even referred to as the Children’s Park of Allahabad. Minor entry price is charged for the park too. There also are swings and small rides to trap the kids.
Kiosks serving snacks, light refreshments and street food also are there inside the park. Park is a place of herbal, semi-herbal or planted area set aside for human leisure and pastime or for the safety of wildlife or natural habitats. It can also encompass grassy regions, rocks, soil and timber, but may comprise buildings and other artifacts including monuments, fountains or playground systems. The park draws specially the youngsters for it has big stone.
