Chalal, a small little village, is just 30 minutes walk across a pretty scary bridge from Kasol. Walking along the river which has a very scenic trail to offer, appreciating the beauty, halting, loading your camera with some beautiful memories, you reach this quaint little village named Chalal – A backpackers heaven.
One can only reach Chalal by foot from Kasol by crossing the suspended bridge that is over the free flowing Parvati river. The trail then leads to a narrow path taken by villagers and trekkers through the forest of tall pine trees.
Walking down the village you spot woman weavers, weaving magic with their fingers. Traditional wooden houses, cattle shed are a common site in the village.
