Draksharamam

Drakshrama is well-known place in our country.Drakshrama is one of the18 shakti pethas. It is famous for both Shiva kshetra and Shakti kshetra.This temple is constructed by the East Chalukyan king during the Ninth century. There are about  800 ancient scripts on the walls of the temple.This temple is two-storied building looks like a fort. Shiva Lingam is nearly about  9 ft high and the top part is seen on the first floor.This also said that people who worship here will be free of their sins.There are many more small temples inside the main temple Like few names are Praakara, Visheshwara, Dancing Ganapati. Devotees come in many numbers during Kartika Mausam. Photography is restricted inside the Garbha Graham temple.Temple timings are 6.00AM to 7.00AM and 7.00PM to 8.00PM.So, it is worth visiting this place once in a lifetime.
