About Deras Dam

Deras Dam is placed at the outskirts of Bhubaneswar and in the place of Chandaka National Park. The dam is the 0.33 biggest one in Odisha. The splendor of the place is absolutely captivating. The Dam consists of a reservoir filled with rain water. The cottage close to the dam is located on a hilltop and gives awesome view of the place surrounding the cottage. The hilltop cottage accommodates of 3 furnished huts. There is a facility of guided safari for round 40 km close to the dam. Tourists can plan a picnic at the dam and then determine to live for the night at the cottage. The dam is ideal to be visited at some stage in the year.
