Chopta Valley is the shining gem of Lachen. It is as high as 4023 meters and comes on the way to the Gurudongmar Lake. Chopta Valley is a peaceful and pristine destination for the tourists who wish to get away from the hustle and bustle of life.

The place has a panoramic view of the snowy peaks, the slopes covered with the pine forests and the grazing fields around the river that meanders throughout the valley.
