Chopta Valley

Chopta Valley is the shining gem of Lachen. It is as high as 4023 meters and comes  on the way to the Gurudongmar Lake. Chopta Valley is a peaceful and pristine destination for the tourists who wish to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. 

The place has a panoramic view of the snowy peaks, the slopes covered with the pine forests and the grazing fields around the river that meanders throughout the valley. It is an ideal spot for the trekkers and explorers. Rare species of birds and animals are found here, which makes it ideal for wildlife lovers as well as bird watchers. The river is well stocked for water sports.
