Brajeshwari Devi Temple, situated in vicinity to Palampur is an essential religious focus in the area. The place of worship is famous for its well off status. This sanctuary was plundered by Mahmud of Ghazni in 1009, and the intruder fabricated a mosque on the remains and an army was abandoned. The territorial ruler repaired the sanctuary and a copy of the symbol was revered.
