Agastya Lake

Agastya Lake lies in the town of Badami, Karnataka. The lake is of enormous and is situated just below the cave temples. It is believed that lake has elements which have healing powers. A dip into the lake extinguishes all wrong deeds. The lake is surrounded by spiritual hib where on the eastern side liess the Bhoothanatha temple and on the southern part the cave temples.

The temple is famous for its architectural brilliancy and sculptures dating long back. People visit the place to witness such grandeur of the lake and feel the aesthetic and serenity of the place which soothes the mind and certainly enriches the soul with such alluring scenario.
