Adi Kumbeswarar Temple

Adi Kumbeswarar Temple is situated in Tamil Nadu. In this temple Lord shiva is worshipped. This temple was made on 7th Century. This is a place where the nectar fell is mahamaham tank. The temple is more than 1300 years old. It contains a lingam which is said to have been made by Lord Shiva himself. It also has a beautiful collection of silver Vahanas , which is used during festivals to carry the temple deities fro one place to another. Their is not pillar or ceiling. People came from many places in this temple . You can come here with your family and friends . The length and breadth of 750 feet and 252 feet almost . This temple was built by the early Cholas. The sculptural wealth of this temple is amazing. So, it is worth visiting this place once in life time .
