About Padagyaw Festival

Each month of August, the town is every year praising the Padagyaw Festival. The 5-day celebration begins on the principal day of August and finishes on the fifth day which is likewise the devour day of its benefactor holy person. "Padagyaw" is a nearby term that implies a solicitation to the neighbors for "bayanihan, for example, asking help in setting up a local nipa cabin consequently of beverages, dinners and delight. Padagyaw Festival delineates the soul of collaboration and solidarity of the general population of Dumarao. The occasion features is the "pista ng bayan" and road moving rivalry.
