The Voyage a Nantes is an original event which proposes to discover the city through an urban route dotted with works of art. Throughout the summer, contemporary artistic creations already existing or realized for the occasion are scattered in different places of the city. Reflecting the world of travel and poetry, they create a surprise at historic bays, squares or unexpected places.
Made up of about thirty stages, the route begins at the unique Place located along the Saint-Félix canal, and continues through various places such as the abolition of slavery memorial. , the Parc des Chantiers where are exposed the Carrousel des Mondes Marins and the Grand Elephant, the castle of the Dukes of Brittany or the medieval district of Bouffay. A green line is drawn on the ground to indicate the route to visitors. The majority of the sites of the course are in free access. A road course punctuated by sites of discovery and tasting of Muscadet also takes place in the Nantes vineyard between Nantes and Clisson.
