About International Egyptian Marathon

International Egyptian Marathon

It is an yearly running event that covers the main Luxor Run, including a route runs past the well-known old buildings of the West Bank and through the local farmers sugar cane fields. However, its other features include are a Ramses Run & Walk, 5km Kids Run, and some races for the differently-able and in-line skaters resulting in drawing attention of up to 2000 long-distance runners from around 36 countries.

The most admiring part of the event is that it is the only A I M S Association of International Marathons and Road Races certified Marathon in the country.
