After breakfast you will go for a full day sightseeing at Munnar. Tea museum: Tata Tea Museum is a popular tourist spot situated in Munnar of Kerala. It is situated at a distance of about 2 km from Munnar town at the Nallathanni Estate of Tata Tea. It is a tribute to the pioneers, whose toils and commitment transformed Munnar in to a major tea plantation centre of Kerala. Tata Tea Museum showcases pieces of antiquity. The most prominent among them is the burial urn excavated from the vicinity of Periakanal Estate, which can be dated back to 2nd century BC. Rotorvane of 1905, Pelton Wheel used at Kanniamallay Estate in1920s, a rail engine wheel of the Kundale Valley Light Railway used in between 1900 – 1950, etc. are some of the items exhibited here. Eravikulam National Park is 97 sq. km. in extent, situated along the crest of the Western Ghats in the High Ranges of Idukki district of Kerala state, India. The Park holds the largest viable population of the endangered IUCN NilgiriTahr Hemitragushylocrius. Apart from tahr, the Park is the abode of other little known fauna such as Nilgiri marten, ruddy mongoose, small clawed otter, dusky striped squirrel etc. Echopoint:This scenic place gets its name from the natural echo phenomenon here. Echo Point, situated on the way to Top Station from Munnar is a stop over for tourists visiting Top Station - the highest point in Munnar and the rare Neelakurinji Strobilanthus blooms here. Mattupetty Dam:Mattupetty Lake and Dam, which lie 13 km from Munnar, enroute Top Station, at an altitude of 1700 mt, are popular picnic spot with visitors. The lake and dam surrounded by wooden hills and tea plantations, makes a great view. The Shola forests around Mattupetty are ideal for trekking and bird watching, with the iety of birds found there. Small streams and waterfalls cut through the tract here and there, which again adds more attraction to the place. Blossom Park: Placed close to the tunnel face of Pallivasal Hydro-Electric Project, Blossom International Park is a bewitching place with many recreation and entertainment facilities for children and adults. Blossom International Park is situated at Kochi-Madurai Highway, three Kilometres away from main town of Munnar, spanning 16 acres throughout RamaswamyIyer Head Works Dam.
