Munnar meaning "Three Rivers" attributes its name to Mudhirapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundaly rivers, referring to its location at the confluence of these "Three Rivers".

After breakefast check out from the hotel and drive to Thekkady, check in to the hotel. After lunch go for Thekkady local sight seeing and boating in periyar lake, while you can see lot of wild animals eg - wild Elephant, Bison, different kinds of Monkeys Tiger also. The evening you can enjoy the Kerala traditional martial arts show (kalarippayattu) and traditional dance program(kathakali). Both are optional.
