Day 01: Arrive Chennai –Thiruthani – Tirupati - Vellore (270 kms by road)
Arrive at Chennai: - On arrival at Chennai you will be welcome by Trojan Holiday’s travel assistant and later get transfer to Thiuthani and visit the famous Murugan Temple, after prayers transfer to Tirupati it is a major pilgrimage site and is also the cultural city of Andhra Pradesh. It is approximately 20 kilometres away from the famous Lord Balaji Temple situated on the beautiful hills of Tirumala. Reach there and do the prayers later in the afternoon drive to Vellore. Reach Vellore in the evening and check in at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 02: Vellore – kanchipuram – Mahabalipuram – Pondicherry (250 kms by road)
After healthy breakfast in the morning go for sightseeing tour of Vellore A grand 'golden temple', the Mahalakshmi temple, located on a sprawling 100 acres of land at Sripuram, also visit Vellore fort Jalakanteshwara temple, Ratnagiri Murugan temple. In the afternoon check out from the hotel and drive to kanchipuram known as the Golden City of a Thousand Temples, is one of the oldest towns in India. It is famous for both its temples, many of them remarkably well preserved and for its hand-woven silks. Kanchipuram is one of the seven sacred cities of India and it is the only one associated with both Shiva and Vishnu.
Day 03: Pondicherry- Chidambaram – Tanjore – Trichy (250 kms by road)
After healthy breakfast in the morning proceed for the sightseeing tour of Pondicherry which carries a strong whiff of the French presence in India. This erstwhile French colony on the east coast of South India merged with the rest of the country in 1954. Legend says that Pondicherry is the place where St.Agasthaya settled down; visit Aurbindo Ashram, the city of dawn, which is 10 kms north of Pondicherry. This ashram promotes Aurbindo's ideas in bringing about a synthesis of Yoga and modern science, so as to unite the spirit and matter. After lunch at hotel,
Day 04: Trichy – Rameshwaram (250 kms by road)
After healthy breakfast in the morning Visit Temples of Trichy one of the very ancient towns of Tamil Nadu, has many interesting relics of Pallay art (7th century A.D.) - only 6 miles away is the great temple of Srirangam - an island on the Cauvery. This is a massive temple with a 100 pillar hall highly decorated with carvings, also visiting Rock fort and its temple at a height of over 23mts. In the afternoon check out from the hotel and drive to Rameshwaram, reach Rameshwaram in the evening and check in at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 05: Rameshwaram – Kanyakumari (300 kms by road)
After breakfast Go for sightseeing tour of Rameshwaram- the most sacred temple town of India is an island hallowed by the epic Ramayana, where Lord Rama is said to have visited before going into battle of Srilanka. Legend has it that Lord Rama sent Hanuman to Mount Kailash to bring a Lingam for worship when he set foot after defeating Ravana. As Hanuman did not return when the auspicious hour was approaching, Sita made a sand Lingam so that worship could be performed in time, which is where the present day Ramanatha Swamy Temple stands close to sea on the eastern side of the island. One of the twelve Jyotirlingam shrines is also well known for its magnificent corridors and the massive sculptured pillars lining them.
Day 06: Kanyakumari
After healthy breakfast in the morning do sightseeing of Padnabhapuram palace, Suchidram, Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Thiruvalluvar Statue. Evening free for own leisure activities, Night stay in Kanyakumari.
Day 07: Kanyakumari – Madurai (250 kms by road)
After breakfast proceed to Madurai and transfer to hotel. The ancient city of Madurai, some 2600 years old is laid out in the banks of river Vaigai as a lotus flower with the Meenakshi temple in the centre. Afternoon city tour visiting - Meenakshi temple, King Tirumala's Palace, Great tank and Gandhi museum. Night stay in Madurai.
Day 08: Madurai – Kodaiakanal – Palani – Kodaikanal (250 kms by road)
Morning breakfast, checkout of hotel and proceed to Kodaikanal - the charm of Kodaikanal Hill station lies in its wooded slopes and gigantic trees. check in on arrival to a hotel. In the afternoon visit Palani the famous Murugan Temple. Come back to the hotel in the evening. Evening free for own leisure activities, overnight at the hotel.
Day 09: Kodaikanal – Ooty (250 kms by road)
Morning breakfast, proceed to sightseeing visiting to Coakers walk - It offers some of the best views of the plains, Green Valley View - this point commands a beautiful view of the entire Vaigai Dam, this place was once known as “Suicide point.” The Lake - the 24-hectare lake is the focal point in Kodai, boating can be done here, Pillar Rocks - Three boulders stand here, shoulder-to-shoulder, vertically, Silent Valley View - which provides a breathtaking view of Silent Valley, Berijam Lake View - this place provides a panoramic landscape view of Berijam Lake. Silver Cascade falls - the overflow of Kodai Lake comes down here as a 180ft high waterfalls. In the afternoon drive to Ooty and check in at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 10: Ooty – Salem (220 kms by road)
After breakfast morning sightseeing of Zotanical Garden: A variety of exotic and ornamental plants adorn this garden which is the venue for the Flower show held in May every year, drive back to the hotel and check out and proceed to Salem, reach there and check in at the hotel, Night stay in Salem.
Day 11: Salem – Thiruvanamalai (170 kms by road)
After healthy breakfast in the morning proceed for the sightseeing of Salem, after it proceed to Thiruvanamalai, reach there and check in at the hotel. In the afternoon visit Thiruvannamalai houses the holy temple of Lord Arunachaleswara and Ashrams. The Arunachaleswara temple lies at the foot of the Arunachala hill, dedicated to Lord Shiva, is one of the largest temples in India. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 12: Thiruvanamalai – Chennai (190 kms by road)
After healthy breakfast in the morning proceed to Chennai, reach Chennai in the afternoon and check in at the hotel. In the evening go for sightseeing tour of Chennai covering St.Thomas Church, Kapaleshwar Temple and Fort St.George. Drive past the Marina Beach, the natural sandy beauty and spacious promenade and beautiful gardens of the beach attracts tourists visiting Chennai. Night stay in Chennai.
Day 13: Chennai Departure
After healthy breakfast in the morning check out from the hotel and drive to airport to board your flight back to home. Tour ends with sweet memories.
