This day marks the beginning of our journey through some of Europe’s most beautiful land, water and city scapes as we explore the Scandinavian belt during our night long excursion. And we kick off this wonderful Cox and Kings, the city of Helsinki, Finland. We arrive at the Helsinki airport, clear the immigration and customs process and head out to meet our Cox and Kings representative who will transfer us from the airport to our hotel Check . We spend enough time to settle into our rooms, relax and freshen up before heading out to an Indian restaurant for dinner.

It’s safe to say then that there is certainly no dearth of scenic beauty in Stockholm. But scenic stretches aren’t all there is to the town; there is also an interesting amalgamation of historic architectural treasures and that of modern structures. We get a hint of this beautiful blend of historic and modern as our tour takes us past popular landmarks.

We begin our day, of course, with a wholesome breakfast and then head out to explore the beautiful Denmark capital, Copenhagen, a town that’s youthful and historic, at the same time. We kick off our guided city tour at the Rosenborg Castle which comprises the oldest royal garden of the country. The tour then takes us past the Renaissance Stock Exchange, Danish Parliament, the famous statue of the Little Mermaid and the Christiansborg Palace that comprises the Danish Parliament, the Danish Prime Minister’s Office and the Danish Supreme Court.
