Today early in the morning, head out to visit the Kamakhya Temple, located on Nilachal Hills in western part of Guwahati on adjoining banks of Brahmaputra river. Thereafter, head out for exploring the beauty of Cherrapunjee. Here, visit Nohsngithiang Falls, also known as Seven Sisters Falls as they form a seven-segmented waterfall, which plunges over the top of limestone cliffs of the Khasi Hills. Then proceed to Arwah Caves and then to Nohkalikai Waterfalls. Thereafter, drive to ‘Law Shynna’ a viewpoint, from where you can see the beautiful Wahkaba Falls, the natural landscape and the river which flows to Bangladesh through Nongpriang Village and Sohkhmi Village. After this, proceed to Dain Thlen Falls. A visit to the living root bridge optional because this is a steep hike downhill and back.
