Rouge River
About Rouge River
The Rouge River is a waterway in Markham, Pickering, Richmond Hill and Toronto in the Greater Toronto Area of Ontario, Canada. The waterway streams from the Oak Ridges Moraine to Lake Ontario at the eastern fringe of Toronto, and is the area of Rouge Park. The main national stop in Canada inside a district.
At its southern end, the Rouge River is the limit amongst Toronto and southwestern Pickering in the Regional Municipality of Durham. Rouge Park, the biggest urban stop in North America, incorporates critical bits of the Rouge River. The Ministry of Stephen Harper proposed, in the 41st Canadian Parliament royal position discourse, the making of a national stop.
