Its sole surge, the Scugog River, interfaces with Sturgeon Lake. Lake Scugog is in the Great Lakes Basin and structures some portion of the Trent– Severn Waterway. It is a hard-water marl-delivering lake, and the lake base comprises of profound stores of it. This gives the lake a dinky appearance in warm climate, particularly amid the late spring.
