About paddleboarding or kayaking on Kootenay Lake
Kootenay Lake is a water-sweethearts dream goal. There are heaps of sandy shorelines all over the 144 kilometer lake and bunches of spots that are awesome for kayaking or stand up paddleboarding SUP. John and I were reserved for a morning of SUP – and this was to be our second time ever on the loads up. My unique idea was why not kayak rather – and extremely what's all the object about SUP?
Following a couple of hours investigating the lake and really covering a sensible separation I would now be able to see the charm of the game. You don't need to stand the whole time. You can bow, sit and effectively hop in the water for a swim. No need to surge out and purchase a board yet it was a ton of amusing to see the lake from an upright position – and on a hot day it's route less demanding to chill.
