Situated in the core of the city, the 97 hectare 240 section of land Laurier Woods incorporates a commonly noteworthy wetland, rough outcrops and upland backwoods; and is an asylum to a wide scope of wetland and forest animals, including moving winged creatures. A 10+ km trail organize traverses the Woods offering superb open doors for climbing and natural life seeing. There is much to acknowledge and appreciate in Laurier Woods - some of which is highlighted at the interpretive stops along the trail. Stop at the plunging stage on the lower lake to get a look at the wetland winged animals and oceanic life. Take a load off at the Haist Lookout for a winged creatures' eye see.
