About Ji-Parana
Ji-Parana is the second maximum populous municipality in the Brazilian state of Rondonia, with a population of 130.419, and the 16th maximum populous metropolis of the Brazilian North Region, the 210th most populous city of Brazil, and the 113th of the Brazilian indoors. It has a place of 6,897 km². The city is split by the Ji-Parana River. The city economy is enterprise and dairy production. The town was also the primary of Rondonia State to put money into high technology of records transmission, while it linked, via a wi-fi network, the City Hall.
The municipality call comes from tupi, meaning "awesome river of axes", via the junction of yi e parana. It is a connection with the tremendous amount of rocks inside the river searching like indigenous axes. The municipality is also called the Heart of Rondonia, due to the significant town vicinity and the life of a coronary heart formed island, located in the confluence of the Machado and Urupa River.
