Remaining in the midst of the rich pine trees, this structure is an excellent exhibit of fine design and convention of Bhutan. The superb and quiet Sangchhen Dorji Lhuendrup Nunnery sits on a slope and summons the perspective of the beautiful Punakha valley and Wangduephodrang valley. The glimmering white washed dividers are supplemented by the lavishly cut woods painted in dark, red and brilliant shading and embellished with renowned plans. The sanctuary is home to an enormous 14 feet bronze statue of Avalokitesha. There are a few different statues inside the sanctuary. Inside the complex there is a reflection focal point of nuns.
