Franklin Gordon Wild Rivers National Park

This Park lies in the core of the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area. It is a district of sensational mountain tops, lovely rainforest, profound waterway valleys and tremendous canyons.

The recreation center is popular for the wild and flawless streams that wind their way through the wild. This river itself has turned out to be synonymous with the Australia's biggest preservation fight and that is- the fight to spare the Franklin from a proposed hydro-electric power plot which would have overwhelmed the river.

The Lyell Highway turn for 56 kilometers through the core of this park and Set aside your opportunity to appreciate the drive through the recreation center. Along with this, there are a few short strolls and cookout stops enroute that will enable you to find the magnificence and excellence of the Wild Rivers area.
