Ruffner Mountain Nature Center

Ruffner Mountain Nature Preserve is a land nature save masterminded in the eastern bit of Jefferson County.Ruffner Mountain Nature Center offers open gateways for climbing, winged creature study, and for outside sweethearts to investigate and learn. The natural life asylum is home to raptors, snakes, turtles, frogs, lizards, and warm blooded creatures.

Mining locales, quarries, and mining gear stay on Ruffner Mountain from the numerous iron metal mines that spotted the scene from the 1880s to the 1950s. Come and visit this natural preserve and experience this place. Don’t forget to take a camera with yourself. It is believed to be the most visited place in the region.
