Herreshoff Marine Museum

Cruising, and most especially the America's Cup race, is profoundly instilled into Newport culture and history. To pick up a feeling of this, and to see models and real reestablished pontoons - including one that is viewed as the most lovely frame shape at any point made - visit the gallery recognizing the Herreshoffs and their watercraft plans.

Their most amazing accomplishment was outlining and assembling eight back to back fruitful protectors of the America's Cup, from 1893 to 1934. The America's Cup Hall of Fame is a piece of the exhibition hall, which includes in excess of 60 cruising and control yachts alongside showcases and recordings on watercraft building and cruising.
