WaterFire

The four-section of land Waterplace Park and Riverwalk outskirt the Woonasquatucket River as it twists through Downcity, Providence. A few times amid the spring, summer, and fall, the city praises this stream, which until late in the twentieth century, was totally secured by roadways.

In excess of 100 campfires are lit in extensive iron container in the waterway's middle and continued blasting all through the night as occupants and travelers walk around the block riverside walkways and footbridges. Road entertainers, sellers, and world music feature these family-accommodating festivals.

WaterFire Providence is an autonomous, 501c3 non-benefit expressions association whose mission is to move Providence and its guests by renewing the urban experience, encouraging group engagement and innovatively changing the city by exhibiting WaterFire for all to appreciate.
