The Roger Williams National Memorial is a 4.5-section of land park situated close to the eastern bank of the Moshassuck River, east of the Rhode Island State House and north of downtown Providence. It remains at the base of College Hill, a National Historic Landmark District that is the city's most established and most generally noteworthy region. It is isolated from the waterway by Canal Street, and limited on the other three sides by Smith Street, Park Row, and North Main Street. The southern part of the recreation center has a generally open verdant region ringed by trees, while the northern segment is more arranged, with the guest focus housed in the mid eighteenth century Antram-Gray House at the upper east corner, and a stopping region on the west side.
