Thread Mill Museum

Paisley Thread Mill Museum intends to save the social and modern legacy of the Paisley and Renfrewshire Thread Mills for the instruction and pleasure in all by gathering and showing material identifying with the string business. A significant number of the things of show have been given by individuals who were associated with the nearby string factories and incorporate photos, process apparatus, tests of items made there and sewing antiquities. A huge gathering has been given to the exhibition hall by Coats Plc. The Coats gathering incorporates Silverware, Trade Medals, Patent records, and Trade Mark question records. A later gift from Coats Crafts contained 2 bed heaps of material from Patterns to Film Reels and VHS Videos. We are as yet dealing with the Coats Craft gift.
