About Suffolk
Suffolk is an East Anglian county of historical starting place in England. It has borders with Norfolk to the north, Cambridgeshire to the west and Essex to the south. The North Sea lies to the east. The county town is Ipswich; different important towns encompass Lowestoft, Bury St Edmunds, Newmarket and Felixstowe, one in all the most important container ports in Europe. The county is low-mendacity with very few hills, and is basically arable land with the wetlands of the Broads in the north. The Suffolk Coast and Heaths are an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The majority of agriculture in Suffolk is both arable or blended. Farm sizes from something around 80 acres to over 8,000. Soil sorts range from heavy clays to mild sands. Crops grown include:iciness wheat, wintry weather barley, sugar beet, oilseed rape, wintry weather and spring beans and linseed, although smaller regions of rye and oats can be located growing in areas with lighter soils together with a diffusion of greens. The continuing significance of agriculture in the county is contemplated within the Suffolk Show, that's held annually in May at Ipswich. Although latterly truly changed in nature, this remains more often than not an agricultural display.
