Market Harborough

Market Harborough is a market town within the Harborough region of Leicestershire, England. It has a populace of 22,911 and is the regulatory central station of Harborough District Council. It sits on the Northamptonshire-Leicestershire fringe. The town was once in the past at a junction for both street and rail; anyway the A6 presently sidesteps the town toward the east and the A14 which conveys east-west activity is 6 miles toward the south. The town is served by East Midlands Trains with direct administrations to Leicester, Nottingham, Sheffield, Derby and St Pancras International.

Rail administrations to Rugby and Peterborough finished in 1966. Market Harborough is situated in a territory which was in the past a piece of the Rockingham Forest, a regal chasing woodland utilized by the medieval rulers beginning with William I. Rockingham Road takes its name from the woods.
