Brighouse

Brighouse is a town inside the Metropolitan Borough of Calderdale, in West Yorkshire, England. Verifiably inside the West Riding of Yorkshire, it is arranged on the River Calder, 4 miles east of Halifax. It is served by Junction 25 of the M62 motorway and Brighouse railroad station on the Caldervale Line and Huddersfield Line. In the town focus is a mooring bowl on the Calder and Hebble Navigation. The United Kingdom Census 2001 gave the Brighouse, Rastrick subdivision of the West Yorkshire Urban Area a populace of 32,360.

The Brighouse ward of Calderdale Council gave a populace of 11,195 at the 2011 Census. The name Brighouse begins from an expanding on the scaffold over the River Calder. In its initial history, it was a villa of the close-by town of Rastrick. Brighouse is twinned with Lüdenscheid in Germany, the connection starting with a trade by Brighouse Children's Theater in 1950 pursued by a metro twinning sanction in 1960.

Brighouse was verifiably part of the township of Hipperholme with Brighouse in the vast antiquated area of Halifax.
